A pretty good life isn’t good

Ask most people what they want and they’ll tell you it’s to be happy.

Ask most people how things are and they’ll tell you ‘ok’ or ‘pretty good’

Ask them to turn that into a number and you’ll get a 7.

Since when did a 7 out of 10 become a pretty good life?

Who aspires to 7 out of 10 for anything in life?

What if we did away with the word pretty, what number would that have to be? 9 – 10?

It seems to me we’re settling at a 7 when a 10 is possible.

I’m curious, why do you think most people settle for a pretty good 7 out of 10?

If you’re at a 7, what would need to happen to move you to a 9 or 10? Are you not worth the extra few points?
