Life doesn’t have to be that way


I’ve suffered with anxiety in the past. I know how debilitating it can be, how it just jumps up on you at the worst times and, when it does, you can’t think straight and you freeze up or you just want to run.

I also know that it doesn’t have to be that way

Phobias and anxiety are just different forms of habits. Though you may not realise it yet, these are learnt behaviours. This is the simplest and most amazing reality, because if you can learn to ‘do’ anxiety’ you can learn to do something else instead.

Permit yourself to try

You might be feeling anxious just reading about facing your fear, but I promise you, it will not be anything like you’re thinking.

If you can permit yourself to try, it’s actually impossible not to allow yourself to imagine what your life will be like when you reach this new level of freedom. Isn’t the power of that possibility enough to have an initial conversation?
