How much time do you think you spend trying to control outcomes?
Are you open to the possibility that all that time spent trying to control is all for nothing?
Have you considered what’s really in our control anyway?
Have you spent time considering what’s the purpose of trying to control?
Consider that the only thing really in our control is how we react; perhaps you don’t yet believe this is true, but I promise you it is!
Consider, that if you didn’t have such strong preferences, would you ever need to control?
What if we just accepted what is without a label of judgement? Would we be happier and more fulfilled? Would we hold ourselves back?
I’d love to know what you think.
