Great gardens don’t just happen. They take planning, preparation, patience, and vision. It’s not enough to plan it on paper, we must get our wellies on and take a spade to the earth.
Our lives are not so different, we have to decide what we want our garden to be like and commit to its creation. We need to pull weeds, sometimes on a regular basis, because they stop growth.
We need to accept that we can only plant one thing at a time, and everything we plant will need some level of nurturing. Our lives have seasons and knowing what to focus on in each season makes a huge difference.
Often we need to slow down, look up from the spade and take the time to appreciate the garden in its current state because all creation and becoming is beautiful.
How can you manage your garden better?
