It’s what most of us care about, the size of our house, and how it compares to others on the street.
What it says about us.
But the bigger the house, the bigger the foundations needed. The longer it takes to build, the more there is to maintain.
Mostly we don’t build it ourselves. You don’t even really own it because it will still be there long after you’re gone. So, it’s something you leave behind.
Your legacy perhaps.
Houses never tend to be finished either. There is always more to add, more to repair, another level of finish and detail.
So best then to enjoy the building process. Because you’ll never get to done.
BTW – I’m not really talking about physical houses 😉
