The “Self” in Self Confidence

“When I think to myself”

This is such a common statement and we hardly pay any attention to it.

But consider it now…Who is the ‘I’ that is thinking and who is the ‘I’ that is listening?

Most of the time we get so caught up in the ebb and flow of the constant chatter in our heads that we don’t stop to consider which side of the argument is us, or if we’re both or neither!

We can get confused about who we really are.

Are we the thinker of the thoughts or the observer?

It seems to me that without a clear understanding of who you are, the ‘self’, how can you really have self-confidence?
